Tired of Struggling Unsuccessfully On Your Own?
A private one-on-one maths tutor can dramatically improve a student's success at school (and therefore their entire future).
There are two main reasons why maths is so important:
1. All maths skills build on earlier, more basic skills
If a student has missed out on understanding even one (or, more usually, several) important points early on in school, much of what they do in later months or years will just not make sense to them. The hard work they may be doing in class right now will have little effect if they have missed out on something important that has already been taught earlier on.
Without a maths tutor, trying harder in maths does not usually help that much — unless the student is able to identify for themselves exactly the specific skills that they are weak in, and then develop those skills on their own, without the help of a teacher (or maths tutor) and a normal classroom environment.
With the help of a private maths tutor, it's easy to discover exactly what areas you are weak in, and then develop those areas up to the level where you can understand and excel in what you are learning in class, now and in the future.
2. Maths is a high-value subject
It's common knowledge that being good at maths translates to getting good academic results and high scores for the ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank, previously known as the Universities Admissions Index or UAI). Because maths is valued so highly, any time spent on maths will benefit your future more than spending that much time and effort on other subjects.
Mathematics also scales better than most of the other Senior High School subjects.
Furthermore, many employers pay more attention to maths results than results in other subjects. More than any other school subject, people often think of someone's ability with maths as a measure of how smart they are.
Investment for Uncertain Times
Maths and science are becoming more popular in the recession. Jobs that require maths and science rank very highly (often taking the highest places) on lists of the most recession proof jobs available.
Mathematics (and the help of a maths tutor) opens the door to worlds of opportunity for exciting and high-demand careers, many of which are highly "recession friendly". Newspapers consistently say things like "Students are returning to tough subjects such as mathematics and science amid intense competition for the best university places and graduate jobs", "Students urged to stick with maths as smart jobs on the rise", and "Science, math careers rank as best jobs during recession".
Providing your child with the best possible education is perhaps the greatest investment you will ever make in your life.
I study nuclear science
I love my classes
I got a crazy teacher, he wears dark glasses
Things are going great, and they're only getting better
I'm doing all right, getting good grades
The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades
I gotta wear shades

Confidence!
Private maths tutoring is like a treasure chest for unlocking a student's full potential — by giving them the one-on-one attention they deserve (and often need). By pinpointing the exact needs of each and every one of my students, I am able to provide the most effective tutoring available.
Right from the beginning, students discover that it is really possible for them to improve at maths and physics. Many students become much more interested in the learning process. Their newly developed abilities instill a sense of confidence with maths that many have never experienced before in their entire lives. This of course makes them much more productive in the classroom, and at exam time.
